Exporting High-Quality Nomal Maps in Zbrush (Tutorial)













Since the release of Zbrush 3, many people were complaining about Zmapper not being integrated into ZB3 and also the fact that normal map functions are not working at all.

There were found the ways to create normal maps in ZB3, one of them was to create a displacement map, crop and fill the document and then to apply a normal rgb material from zbrush 3, it is a way, but the mormal maps end up being a very low-quality and with a seams problem.

So I have found another way to produce and extremely Hight-Quality Normal Maps without waiting for a new Zmapper and the quality of the maps is soo good that personally I dont need a Zmapper at all.
